An Experienced and Engaging Educator with a Passion for Helping Students and Educators Succeed Inside and Outside of the Classroom

As an educator and national advocate, Larry founded Larry Carey LTD, a full-service consulting firm located in Groveport, Ohio. He has collaborated with educators across the country and has served the children of Ohio since 2011 in many roles. Larry specializes in connecting people and has a tier approach to training educators and community members alike. He has advised the Ohio Department of Education by serving on a plethora of committees while also serving in a leadership role with the Ohio Education Association.

Larry’s expertise is a fine blend and balance of education, advocacy, and communication. He is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University where he obtained a B.A in Organization Communication with a minor in Public Relations. He later attended Ashland University where he studied Early Childhood education and obtained his teaching credentials.

Larry Carey is a former Pre-Kindergarten teacher for Columbus City Schools and a previous fellow for the National Education Association. In these roles Larry motto is “to spark the minds that will one day change the world.”
